Before launching Gassed Up Heating, Dan spent more than a decade working as a technical engineer at British Gas. His role focused heavily on boiler servicing and repairs, giving him hands-on experience across hundreds of different gas appliances and access to industry-leading technical training.

Dan spent over a decade at British Gas as a technical engineer, specialising in boiler servicing and repairs. In that time he worked on hundreds of different gas appliances and received industry leading training, building the kind of hands-on knowledge that only comes from years out on the tools, day in and day out.
That experience taught him something beyond the technical side: how much customer service actually matters. So in April 2021 he left to set up Gassed Up Heating and do things his own way. No call centres, no pushy sales tactics, no cutting corners. Every job gets treated with the same care he would give his own home, whether it is a quick repair or a full boiler installation. When you call, you deal directly with the engineer doing the work.
